Philadelphia Freeway Represents Us All
Isn't that the way life works, suckaz? As soon as I diss something on Twitter (which I often do), I find something of value in the that thing I dissed. In this case it was a stupid slideshow by "Complex" magazine where people do "hilarious" photobombs. Lol? Not quite. Anyway, one of their photos was for Jay-Z on his "Made In America" promotional tour. Looks like fun: take pictures with rich guys who clearly love your music. Well Freeway is up there too, and his attitude really represents how we all feel about everything...
So we have Jay-Z doing his work, selling his brand or whatever, and Freeway is seperated from the situation. Like he is saying what we all say: I wat to seperate myself from the "business" side of rap. Then, his attitude is like "Fuck this shit", which is what we would all say. Plus, Freeway used to be tight with J, and now he is stepping away as J enters the business world. I am doing the same thing. A picture is worth a thousand words right?
IN CONCLUSION: Nice Job Freeway. Uh, live long and prosper.

Best & Worst of 2011
Today we're honoring ourselves! TORT TEAM! WHAT! TORT TEAM WHAT?
It's just your typical best of / worst of post. Nothing special. Also, note that this post is ineledgeble for "worst post" because it would easily win that honor since it is literally the worst post we've ever done.
Let's start with the winners:
Track of the year:
Freeway Feat. Tek “Two Kings”
This was a difficult one, especially with Showbiz and A.G. coming out so strong at the end of the year. A-Y could have easily taken it all, but I'm a sucker for anything BCC...add to that the scratching of "the king" at then and nobody else really had a chance (Philly Stand UP).
Disagree or say "I think not" and get got.
Tort Team Best Post of 2011:
This Korean Nonsense
Cappadonna for his verse on I Don’t Care from Vast Aire’s "Ox 2010: A Street Odyssey"
Editor's Note: this may have been released in 2010 (hence the title) but it came out so late that it didn't make the play list until this year. This song and Vast Aire are dope 2011 'til infintiy.
Not to mention Cuban Link Kings and other stong work:
West Coast Roller of the Year:
Xzibit for “Highest Form of Understanding (H.F.O.U.)” feat. Trick Trick
We know this came out in 2010 but it’s still the best of 2011 - it will continue to be the best every year until someone comes close to topping it (stand up West Coast). Everyone here officially loves this track.
But we’re not known for our love. Let's get to what we love: HATIN'!
Biggest Wu-Mistake of the year:
Method Man sells out ODB for Sour Patch Kids
Yo Meth, this is absolutely nothing like the St. Ides commercial or even the Super Gameboy commercial. YOU BLEW IT. Scroll up to that Xzibit video (or any of the tracks above) then reconsider your career choices.
Worst Song of the year overall:
LMFAO – Whatever this is.
OFWGKTA: TCOTCEC - We honestly just gave up.
Blap Blap. Life is good.

#NP Dope Cuts 1
I'm doing something new. Instead of filling up Twitter with a bunch of #NP tags that nobody cares about and Twitter just doesn't need (it's full of them and they're mostly dumb like #NP KISS or some DUMB SHIT. Trust me I ain't #NPing KISS or anything like that ever. Maybe from my bodybag lol...like "#NP KISS & RIP ME!". Anyway, KISS IS THE WORST, THEY'RE LIKE ICP FAKERS AND ICP IS DEFINITELY THE WORST EVER). WTFlip was I talking about? I have no idea. OH YEAH THIS POST. I'm just going to post a few dope tracks (of the month I guess). I'm not going to write anything up or rank them or anything, they're all the best. I'll just post the track or the link, whatever. U KNOW d d d o o o p p p e e e tracks. That's it. Dope. So to the people who keep asking "You don't even listen to rap and you hate everything what do you like?" This is my answer. I like this. I like all of this a lot and so should you...
